Welcome to Metropolitan Baptist Church, we are a ministering multi-cultural community of New Testament believers, functioning under the power of the Holy Spirit, in faithful obedience to the Scriptures, magnifying the Lord through worship, evangelism, discipleship, fellowship and mission. We proclaim the death of Christ for our sins, His burial and triumphant resurrection, His high Priestly work on our behalf, the witness of His church in the world, and Christ’s glorious return as King and Lord of Lords.
If you are in or near the Hollywood, FL area, we would love to have you join us for worship or any of our other events. Our activities and events extends to all ages and you will feel at home .

Our theme this church year is, “Connect with God to Connect with People”. To be connected to God, is to be in right relationship with Him. When you remain connected to God, you will become more like Him, loving the things that God loves. God loves people. A Christian who is connected with people, is intentional about forming Christ-centered relationships with all kinds of people. This is our goal, to Connect with God in order to Connect with People.

Challenge kids to face their fears and trust God as they zip along the roller coaster of life. Through every twist, turn, and dive kids will learn that God has not given them a spirit of fearfulness, but a spirit of power, love, and sound judgment.
