Welcome to Metropolitan Baptist Church, we are a ministering multi-cultural community of New Testament believers, functioning under the power of the Holy Spirit, in faithful obedience to the Scriptures, magnifying the Lord through worship, evangelism, discipleship, fellowship and mission.
Our theme this church year is, “Connect with God to Connect with People”. To be connected to God, is to be in right relationship with Him. When you remain connected to God, you will become more like Him, loving the things that God loves. God loves people. A Christian who is connected with people, is intentional about forming Christ-centered relationships with all kinds of people. This is our goal, to Connect with God in order to Connect with People. |

To Think About:The truth of God’s Word that Christ lives in me and I in Him is not something that the human mind can fully grasp, but as we yield to the One (Holy Spirit) who is in us and is able to lead us into all truth pertaining to Christ and the believers, this will become a reality in us. Christ in us means that his very divine nature is in us. (2 Peter 1: 4) Here is the challenge for all believers. Our lives must mirror the character of the Christ who lives in us. We are his display to the world of what his grace can do in the lives of fallen human creatures. (1 Thessalonians 1: 6-10) |
