How much do you appreciate the death of Christ on the cross? The only kind of appreciation that is inspired by the Holy Spirit is the one that leads us to see the horror of our sinfulness and leads us to genuine repentance and the surrendering of life to his Lordship. Anything else is no more than empty sentimentalism. Read and meditate on Philippians 3: 7-11. Here is a genuine example of appreciation for the death of Christ for lost people like us.
